Lupus Community & Support

An effective support system can improve a patient's overall quality of life, reinforce self-management skills, and decrease the feeling of isolation that often accompanies the disease.

For caregivers, finding their own support network is equally important for managing the stress of caring for someone with a chronic illness.

GET THE SUPPORT YOU NEED

Online platforms and communities provide a valuable space for lupus patients and caregivers to connect and share their experiences. Reputable national organizations like the Lupus Foundation of America and the Hospital for Special Surgery also offer both virtual and in-person support groups and educational materials.

In addition, there are many Facebook groups dedicated to supporting those with lupus.
